I’m new to the amphibian world and I have a single American green and I’m going to be getting at least one more this next week and moving them to a new vivarium and I have everything already set up and good minus a light. I have absolutely no idea what to do for lighting. I currently have a t5 fluorescent for aquariums on it. I’m pretty sure that’s not the best for them so I just need to know what they need for lighting, heat lamp, night and/or day lights, just tell me exactly what they need and I’ll go for it. Wanna make sure my little friends are happy
It's hard to say exactly what you need because there's a lot of stuff out there. Low level UVB lighting should help though. The kind sold for "tropical" animals is better for frogs than then kind for "desert" animals.
Ok awesome. Thank you. That’s exactly what I got. I’m so glad I got the right one.
