Hello, I have just adopted my first RETF. She looks to be a female since I have not heard any chirping and she is relatively large. I have only had her a week now and just after 4 days she started to look very bloated. I have done some reading and I know that it could be a symptom of an infection or she could just be eating too much or possibly gravid. I have kept the humidity at 70% and she has had around 6-8 crickets every 3 days. I just want an experienced opinion before I seek a vet. The bloating is also just around her stomach area. She is very active at night and shows no signs of lathargy.
I don't know what to tell you, except to keep an eye on her to see if it goes down. Lethargy, patchy shedding and poor appetite would all be further clues.
If she's new, you might want to get her checked out anyway, but you could also just monitor her.
