I am going to have to take my tank apart because of nematodes. Do you think it would be wise to just scrub and reuse the Styrofoam background?
I also have a piece of ghostwood too large to fit in a pot of boiling water. Do you have any tips for sterilization and cleaning?
I don't know what to do about the Styrofoam, but maybe you could try suspending the ghost wood from something, with half the wood in the water, and boil half at a time? Good luck!
Some roots have grown into the foam. Do you think these could harbor nematodes?
I would get rid of everything because that is something that could potentially harm whatever animal you put in with the stuff next. I had them a long time ago and I had to get rid of everything except for one plant.
