Now I am pretty sure I already know the answer to this but I want to be sure because some websites say yes and others say no. I have three whites tree frogs in a HUUUGE tank meant for five froggies. I noticed that the copes get to around the same size as the whites (correct me if I’m wrong). Hypothetically, because I can’t afford another frog, would you be able to cohabit these frogs?
Full grown Whites' are larger than greys, plus I don't know if their different toxicities would make one species or the other sick over time. I know you want to economize but I'd consider not doing it.
I’d say it’s a big no. I had a very large copes female who reached a little over 2” my male WTF is over 3” and still growing. So on size alone it’s a no because WTFs eat what moves. Then there’s the issue of different climates. Like I haven’t done any research on cohabiting but I know WTF need ~80 degrees and Copes can do with a milder temp. WTFs are only about $15-25 where I am...
