Just before I shut of the light for the night, I happened to catch a rather amusing sight. One of my second generation male cockroaches had wedged himself between the water dish and the side of the tank. I thought he was stuck and was going to help him, until I realized he was actually quite comfortable "sitting" there and cleaning his antennae. He looked like he didn't have a care in the world. Must be nice to be raised with fresh food and water and no predators, eh?? The pictures don't quite capture the humour of it, but here they are:
Lol..second generation. Maybe he's getting old and needed to recline. I can relate to that.
LOL-unfortunately, I made a mistake. It is actually one of my original males, Akida. At one time, he was the dominant male and is the father of the second generation and more than likely, the third generation that was just born. He lost a major fight and is the worse for it. Right now he is separated from the others, but I doubt he is going to last much longer. Poor little guy .
