Hi, I got four brown tree frogs yesterday and I was wondering if someone could confirm the information the pet store person gave me and answer a few questions.
Enclosure
They are in a wide 11 inch enclosure. They have a decoration with lots of climbing spots, and a large bowl full of dechlorinated water. The pebbles were wet with just normal tap water but are dry now.
How often do I have to change the water in the bowl?
Food
I am feeding them about four crickets each. The pet store person said to feed them once a day but most websites are saying once every three days. These crickets are currently 'extra small'.
How often do I feed them?
When do I change their food to a bigger portion?
Nature
Three of my frogs are very relaxed and sort of just sit there, but one of them is very jumpy, and has escaped twice (I have since changed the enclosure so they can't get out). He's had a good feed, so I'm wondering if he is okay. Watching him now, he is actually attempting to escape again. This is making me quite anxious. Also, I had to pick him up without wet hands when he got out because I was very frantic.
Secondly, how can I tell when a frog is stressed/happy/ill? I am quite worried about the one I mentioned above (Bart).
Lastly, one of my frogs is tiny. How do I make sure he gets the best treatment so I can ensure he grows into a strong boy?
