Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has tried to breed or use Banded Crickets on here? I saw a day ago how they are becoming popular and I was curious if anyone has tried to use them or if they think these crickets could be beneficial for American Toads, Southeastern Five Lined Skinks, and White's Tree Frogs?

I think some US pet stores already use the banded cricket/tropical house cricket over the House Cricket(Acheta Domestica). Iirc in terms of nutrition etc, both are relatively equal. One major upside of banded crickets is they are immune to cricket paralysis virus, which can really wreck cricket farms.

I don't think there's any reason not to use them over house crickets, and immunity to the Paralysis Virus is a huge boon. I say go for it!
