    Default Mozambique Rain Frog

    Hi!
Does anyone have any experience or info. on the Mozambique Rain Frog? I've searched and searched and searched but haven't been able to come up with much. I really just want to know what size terrarium 1 would need and what temps to keep it at. I shouldn't say that's all I need to know. I'm always interested in any info.,tips, or advice.

    Thanks!!!!

I couldn't find any specific care sheets, unfortunately. This is the best source of info I could find. Hopefully another member has some experience with these frogs.

Well I googled one of the temps in their native habitats and I'd say that about 77-85 degrees Fahrenheit would be good.

    Hello!

I have had the same trouble finding captive care info. I picked two up at a reptile show last spring, sadly the smaller of the two passed within days. However the other one is going strong! I'll let you know what I'm doing...i hope it helps, also I'd love to hear how others are keeping theirs..

He (unsure of sex, but I call it a he) is in a 12x12x12 of a spagnum moss/eco earth/sand mix. I keep it moist, not wet. He has a water bowl that I have seen him in on occasion. I have small heat lamp, keeping it about 78 to 80 during the day and off at night. I dig him out for bowl feeding 2 to 3 times a week . I will mention that he went into a hibernation for about 4 (August to early December) months where he declined all food, right before he had an insatiable appetite though. He dropped a lot if weight but has since but it mostly back on ( at a solid oz)
