Hi! Unfortunately it is much too early to sex this frog. You may hear bits about coloration as a gender indicator. This usually refers to the oranging or yellowing of the frog's lower jaw over time. This is not a reliable way to sex African Bullfrogs. Your best bet is going to be hearing it croak or simply keeping track of it's size. Frogs can be stressed by being dug up and handled, so it's good to try and limit this to only when you have to. Tong feeding can be very convenient if you can get them used to the tongs(something I've never had luck at lol)
Going to edit this adding something momentarily.

As your bullfrog starts to get bigger it will be easier to tell. One way to tell is that as they grow, females tend to have a little bit of a rounder head and only grunt or bark when they get irritated. Males have a bit more of a "beak" shaped head and can croak if they get irritated. Males also commonly loose the dorsal stripe.
Nice frog!!! PURELY A GUESS. MALE!!!!!! Hahaha I have one of a similar age. There doesn’t seem to be any accurate way to judge sex until they grow up. I hear 4 or 5 inches and the gender will really start to show. Looks like yours is well on it’s way.
Sorry guys for a late reply,im very much hoping for male so fingers crossed! Jolan have you any pics of yours ? Would be great to see it!
For some reason I just got an email today saying there was a new reply, and I noticed no pictures had been posted yet, so here's a couple of my ABF.
These are old pictures, so he's bigger now. In fact, he needs a new dish soon.
