I now have far more dubias than my frogs can eat, does anyone have suggestions about reducing their numbers? I don't know anyone who owns a lizard any more.
Send some to me? Lol. Seriously, though, you could make an ad on craigslist offering a bunch for cheap. Maybe see if any stores in the area need more roaches to stock. There's always getting a new frog or two, as well.
If it really becomes a problem and you can't get rid of them, I do have a fledgling roach colony and I could compensate you for shipping plus a little extra if you want to send me some to knock your population down a peg.
Good luck!
Also, what do you feed yours?

I've tried, most people, even lizard owners seem to be weirded out by roaches here. I'll try offering some to a pet store, but they don't sell roaches. Maybe they'd be happy to have them as food? I'd be happy to send you some for the cost of postage if it's legal in your state and you want some. About how many would you want? Breeding adults?
I give mine dry oatmeal, lettuce, carrots, and sometimes squash or apple pieces.
Lol alright. I'll PM you details in a bit. I'll have to check legality, but I think it's legal to ship Dubias into california. I'm not overly concerned with size, you can just ship whatever size however many you feel like, assorted sizes even.
I need to diversify my dubia's foodstuffs.
