He, welcome. I believe we have one or two herpetologists around but I don't know how much they post.
Long time frog enthusiast here and also a frequent lurker of this forum here. I'm in southern California and currently housing some PCFs. I'm curious by nature so I'd like to learn the most I can about frogs and this forum is an excellent place to find information.
On a side note, are there any herpetologists on this forum?
At the moment, I haven't really considered hoping back to school to become one but it would definitely be really cool to hear about some experiences, future projects, and even problems faced at the forefront of research and conservation of this awesome order!

Hi, welcome to the forum! PCF's are fun little frogs, I keep some myself. I would be interested in hearing about herpetology as a career etc, myself. It sounds really interesting.

I know there's some frog exhibit at the long beach aquarium right now, I'm not sure how much outreach the staff wants to do. Also that elusive blue PCF is housed in Humboldt so I'm gonna plan on a trip there soon to see if I get to meet some of these Anura celebs.
