I adopted a WTF yesterday and he is currently in a 10 gallon leader. One of his pupils is a little deformed but I fed him 4 good sized crickets last night and he seems to be doing well.
(Sorry for the blurry picture, I was across the room and zoomed in but you can kind of see his eye here)
I’m getting him a new tank with in the week I’m just not sure what to get yet.
Both the rainforest and skyscraper are 18”x18”x36” & I’m not sure what the difference is...
I know this is going to be big enough, but will it be too big for him?
Does anyone here have either tank or both and can give me some feedback on them?
Or maybe you have a white tree frog that is in something else that I should look into?
The frogs tend to use all the space in a tank, so I wouldn't worry about about it being too big. They tend sit very still a lot, but also to make long jumps sometimes.
I don't know the particulars on the tank, but I've seen the zoomed and it may depend if you want a single door or two doors on your tank. Either would work.
If you have other frogs, I'd try to quarantine this one for about a month, just to make sure it doesn't have any sicknesses besides the damaged eye.
