Thread: My Frogs

    Default My Frogs

Hi, I just joined the forum today and wanted to introduce my frogs, Mirage is only 1" long, and Paradox is only about 1.5" snout to vent. Currently they share a 10 gallon while they grow, but when they get bigger they will move into the tank that currently houses my foster boy, a 38 gallon. They are so tiny its hard to get good pictures. ( sorry about the way the pictures came out, I can not fix it)

I don't usually handfeed. I do when I offer brine shrimp or tilapia but I don't with their pellets.

No problem if your not hand feeding but I would recommend feed them as much possible 90% hand" benefits you will bond with them more time not just have 2 shy frogs lost in 38 gallons lol; I tap very same corner feeding time and they never fail come collect there dinner consisting 90% nightcrawler mine are fussy not even that keen on bloodworms anymore much prefering nightcrawlers which are very easy to hand feed and gaurenteed no waste food which you might need to gaurd against; I noticed you have no gravel in holding tank but the 38 gal tank has a layer whats your plans on moving day regarding the gravel thx

ps the 38gal tank looks superb but you might not see so much but am sure they will love there surroundings

It's sand actually. A fine sand. No gravel of any kind is in my tanks. My frogs are not afraid of my hands I hand/tong/pipette feed weekly. If you look in the picture my larger foster frog is in the 38 gallon and loves the opportunity for cover but also hangs out in the open because he does have the option to get into cover if he wants.

I decided to play with my camera on close up today, it still has trouble with tiny Mirage
