Hi again! Frogs and toads are pretty much full insectovores, with some large frogs also eating mice, birds, and even snakes. They cannot really eat plant matter, apart from whatever small amounts are in the bellies of their prey.
I'm sorry, but you are going to need to get your toad some store bought bugs somewhere every few days. Even if you don't like crickets, they are the most readily available feeder insect in most places, and depending on local availability they may even be the only option. More selection is available online if you can order things online.
Another option might be to try a Pac-Attack(or similar product) I think it comes in a powder that congeals to a blob when exposed to water. Its's formulated for horned frogs, but I've seen video of it being fed to Japanese toads. If you can order it and train them to eat from tongs, or from a clear plastic spoon(or the tip of your finger like I usually do) you could feed your toad bugs free. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Edit: I think I remember seeing a homemade recipe for frog food...I'll see if I can dig it up.

Toads need bugs not veggies, meal worms are very high chitlin and cause impaction. Give crickets or roaches of some sort or even some silkworms or hornworms. If you can get silkworms over hornworms I would give those first, silks have more protein and less fat. Or even some night crawlers would be great if you can your toad to eat those.

Yeah, that's amazing, I just checked my email notification for your last post. I'm glad you listed silkworms and hornworms. I forgot all about them.
