Would estimate 90% of issues revert back to WEEKLY CLEANING FEEDING REGIME: its simple follow routine 90% the time frogs may have more chance of survival
Firstly do NOT overfeed these frogs : follow strict regime: every 3rd day fast the frogs:: feeding prefer raptomin sticks or similar earthworms/nightcrawlers are fine(ensure they are clean with no chance of pesticide"/ prefer source worms from worm farm
(be careful blood worms or beefheart may cauce bloat)
change water every week by 1/3rd using water conditioner such as PRIME and also consider LYMNOZYME but be careful dosage
with ACF oe ADF its best not to add gravel it serves very little purpose against if your frog may swallow some gravel.
These frogs prefer clean water so prepare to change 1/3 water weekly filtered or not make a habit of change!
just to add if filtered clean filter sponge once a month using partial change water/ the filtrate contains millions of beneficial bacteria if rinsed clean chlorine water will kill
If you persist with gravel : ensure during your weekly water change the gravel is hoovered using a special siphon which will pickup fish/frog poo if correctly stabbed into gravel;
There is not that much else to add it's really that simple BUT ::you must have that routine or the tank balance can go wrong very very quickly, please do have test kits avail, the cheapest are the test strips and they do give a good idea what's happening very little costs
