hi, i have 2 pet toads and a boreal chorus frog. i fed my toads some crickets, and they ate just fine except for the smallest of them. he is big enough to eat the crikets and was very hangry, but when he bit on the cricket and got it halfway in his mouth, in a split second, he would just spit it out. is it because of the barbs on the crickets legs? please help.
How many times did this happen? as in how many different times did he spit out the cricket. If it just happened once then i would say don't worry about it. Need more info on exactly what took place.
