So I ordered a 24x12x18 exo terra and it came in today... well one side is completely shattered but don't worry I'm getting a full refund and the company told us not to worry about sending it back. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about replacing the glass because I just hate to see it go to waste. It's just the one side.

I know LLL reptile sells replacement parts for exo terra. Not sure if they'd have something. If not then you could get a 12x18 piece of glass and use aquarium silicon (or any similar adhesive as long as it's safe for reptiles) to fill in the gaps.

This is going to sound like a stupid question. But what kind of glass should I use to replace the side with? I know I obviously don't want something too thin.
Bloo
Well I don't really have any first hand experience replacing tank glass but I would say it should be at least as thick as the original glass. As long as it's at least that thick, the rest is up to you and how you think it looks
