I have two of them in a ten gallon terrarium. I recently added coconut fiber and turtle pebbles to help mimic their natural environment. Before I made the changes they were barking a lot more and were also more active. They still eat and move around the tank, but don't bark as much. Are they more mellow now because of the changes I made to their tank?
Hi there,
that "barking" is a mating call and they will only do it when there is no stress in their environment. They will probably start to call again once they've had more time to settle into their new setup
