So for the last two days my frog has blood from coming from what it seems like it's mouth/throat and theres a soft bump on it's throat, the bump sort of feels like a bone but it's prutding from the frogs skin. today I bought the frog a a warmer heat matt (as the last one only heated the glass) just in case of impaction, the frog actually ate today (probably because the warmer temperature) as it scoffed the food down the moment I offered it so I don't think it's I'll. Ive also been giving it warm dechlorinated washes to make it sure it wasn't impacted but nothing has come of it.
I thought it could be reduced leg disease although my frog doesn't have red legs or any of the other symptoms despite bleeding.
Any one have any Idea what the problem could be?
Thanks in advance.
I don't know what it could be but if he has something sticking out under his skin and is bleeding from his mouth/throat I would say it a safe bet that he needs a vet.
There is actually some exotic vets a while away from me but I doubt I can afford the price, I'll have to look into it more. Also the distance is kind of a problem /:
Haven't seen any blood coming from the frog for the last couple of days although I have yet to check thevs soft bump, Overall the frog seems to be okay but I'll keep with my routine of warm washes and checking up on it.
