I recently received two WTF's one is doing great and is completely healthy but the other is partially-completely blind she is eating moving around and soaking but its very obvious she cant see anything. I have to tong feed her but so far the only thing I can get her to eat are wax worms and only one per attempt at feeding. Any suggestions on feeding? To get around the cage she kind of head butts things very gently then moves her feet to her head to get around. Any suggestions on helping her? I have already replaced all sphagnum moss with pillow moss to limit more risk of impaction I have replaced all branches with cork bark since it does not have the sharp edges. Anything else to make her life easier?
Those were good steps to help. Wax worms are fairly high in calories so eating just one isn't as bad as only eating a cricket. However, they're low in nutrition so I'd be sure to dust them. Maybe the frog will come to associate the powder with "tasty waxworm" and eat other things with powder on them.
