I don't know what enclosure to use for a new pacman frog. Some people have said they do good in large critter keepers but others say they were to small. I was looking into some critter keepers and I was thinking they were a little small myself. Right now I have a spare 10 tank that I think would be perfect but I also have a 20 gallon tank that looks huge and perfectly spacious compared to the 10 gal. What do you prefer and why is it the better option? thanks!!

Hello and welcome to Frog Forum!!
Pacman frogs are rather inactive and as a result will rarely need more than a standart 10 gallon tank (maybe 15-20 gallons if you have a huge female).
Babies need to be kept in a much smaller enclosure, 1-2 gallons is perfect. The babies will grow very fast and will reach adult size within a year or two
the key to a successful pacman frog enclosure is security rather than space. The frog must feel safe
Litoria caerulea 1.1.0 (White's Tree Frog)
Lampropeltis triangulum hondurensis 0.1.0 (Anerythristic Honduran Milk Snake) Tliltocatl albopilosus 0.0.2 (Curly Hair Tarantula)
Aphonopelma hentzi 0.0.1 (Texas Brown Tarantula)
Avicularia avicularia 0.0.2 (Pinktoe Tarantula)
Brachypelma smithi ex. annitha 0.0.1 (Mexican Giant Red Knee Tarantula) Monocentropus balfouri 0.0.2 (Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantula)
Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
As Eli said, they only need a small enclosure as babies because they require little space and can even be stressed by an oversized tank. Because of this, a medium or larger critter keeper is fine. Other options include sterilite/rubbermaid clear plastic tubs. For my babies right now I use a 3 stack shelf from Target modified with some holes and heating equipment. Once your frog grows some, your 10 gallon will be perfect. Hope this helps.
