    Default Croaking

I couldn't find a solid answer for this so I'll write a new question I guess...
How often do pacman frogs croak?
    How loud is it?
    How long does it last?
When does mating season start and how long is it for?

NB: this applies to a single pacman male frog, not a group

Thanks a lot for the answers!!!

I really dont know the right answer to these, I am going by the two males that I have had. One was a few months old, the other is currently 2.5 months old.

Both croaked at random times. Now I am not in my room all the time, only when sleeping and I usually hear it in the middle of the night like 2 - 4 am. He will usually croak for a few seconds then stop. He would do about 3 croaks.

I have never seen him do it only heard, and usually he is almost all underground when doing it or just a bit of him exposed.

Usually its not too loud but the other day it was fairly loud.

i tried to get mine to croak the other day. i rigged up a makeshift 'rain chamber' and made it rain on him. he seemed to absolutely love it as he was motionless under the drips for hours and hours. super content to let water drip all over him.

but no sound yet. i think he is too young still.

    Thumbs up Re: Croaking

FROG always croaks at night when the light is out. Not that often though. I have never heard him croak in the day with the light on. He will croak a few times and then quite. I have recorded his sound on a small tape recorder. I wish sometimes I was younger as I would like to go to South America to see where the various species live. Too old for that kind of travel anymore.
