I've had the frog for almost a month and i suspect its just under 2 months old. In that time the size has gone from about a gumball to about a golf ball. The coloring has changed noticeably in just the past few days from normal green stripes with brownish/tan/gold back, to dark vivid green stripes and basically black. I think this looks like a great little healthy frog, pretty sure it's a female giant but i'm relatively new to this. Thoughts? Any information or discussion would be appreciated! Thanks folks.
Hello every one I’m new to the group. I have a question where can I buy pixie tadpoles?
Hi! Normally I'd recommend starting a new thread for a new topic like this, but this one is a difficult question. African Bullfrogs are usually sold as freshly metamorphosized babies who've just lost their tails. Tadpoles are very uncommon. I feel like your best bet if you really need a tadpole rather than a baby. I notice your location says "the bay". I'm in the bay as well. If you want a baby pixie frog, the East Bay Viviarium in Berkeley should get another baby soon. They're a nice shop.
Also, to answer the Original poster's question, if they check this, I can help if you post a picture or two of the frog.
1 Male Giant African Bullfrog
2 Woodhouse's Toads
11 Pacific Treefrogs
1 Dubia Roach Colony
2 Australian Green Treefrogs
