I recently got an African Dwarf Frog. I keep it in a ten gallon tank with one female beta. I have heard that ADF's don't get to eat in community tanks because fish gobble it all up, but my beta isn't the problem. The pellet food I give my frog lands in front of him, but he just doesn't eat it. He completely ignores it. I tried everything to get him to eat the pellets but it hasn't worked. Do I just need to switch types of food? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi Dinky
I had same issues with my ACF's,.the general advivce might be to slowly introduce
New food to frogs, the pellets might be new to him and you might not be aware of
What he was eating previous( can you ask)
Introduce as much frozen food(ensure thawed before fed) ie shrimp & worm types
Do not give to much blood worms or beefheart both are thought to lead bloating.
Keep trying pellets but remove whats not been eatin after 15 mins
Dried food other than pellets ie worm are ok for quickness or shortages with frozen
but contain 40% less nutrient
If you can get small enough nightcrawlers it will scoff them or cut them

Thanks, my dad has a night crawler farm, I could just feed it some of those.
