As I asked in my last forum post I would like to know if I can teach my WTF where or when to poop. I also mean to ask by that maybe just to teach him i guess when like a mental schedule. I also would like to know if i can do this type of thing and apply it to a trick like jumping or croaking or opening his mouth or to come to my voice and if their is a way to teach him. I'm going to guess it includes some sort of motivation and it would be hard but I would like to try nevertheless.
Anyone?
well i guess I also would like to at least know what it looks like
I don't think frogs are terribly good at learning things, especially controlling their poops. I don't know how they'd figure out what you wanted them to do in the first place. But I do know of stickyfrogs at tumblr who had too many frogs to feed them in the tank. They learned that if they climbed onto her hand they'd get fed. But they don't always feel like doing that.
i guess what i meant was like giving a dog a treat after he does something good or making like a place for him where he is comfortable. I guess what gave me the idea was this video. the pooping though was so that I could even see it.

I don't know that the croaking frogs were trained so much as responding to a deep voice, thinking it's a frog croak. Mine respond to my father's voice sometimes too.
You can train frogs by rewarding them, though yeah. To reward a pooping frog you'd have to catch them while they were pooping and most frogs aren't in the mood to eat at the same time maybe. I don't know it could work?
It might be easier to temporarily line the frog tank with paper towels so any poops are visible.
Well the only problem with that is it a dirt floor cage however that might work. He doesn't always want to just eat like i've seen other WTFs. If you look up the youtuber gompers he has whites tree frogs and they seem like they love to just eat. Those would be easier to train with food. I guess If there's another type of food he may be more interested. Maybe I'll try mealworms
Normally white's have appetites. Or he could be shy around you. Maybe keep an eye on him and see if his appetite picks up.
ive definetely noticed shyness fir eating but he loves to climb all over me he is as im posting this even
and he does eat he just doesnt when im watching but i have to be watching if i put it in his larger cage because the crickets can hide so thats why i put him in his tiny cage which led up to the bacon thing which is making me think of the nickname mr bacon or mr nono because he likes to do the stuff hes not supposed to do
