A month and a half ago, I've started to build a new vivarium 12x24x36 for my two RETF. In my last vivarium I had to empty the bottom quite often, but in this one the water never reach the bottom once yet.
Should the substrate be soak in at least once, or is it good that way?
I have to drain the false bottom of my red eyed tree frog tank every 1-2 months depending on the time of the year. Are you keeping the tank humid enough? Do your plants look healthy? Substrate should be damp but not wet and not dry.

This is what it look like so far,Lots of soil I know...There will be more on each side in the back there will be and other level( but I havent found the piece of rock or wood yet)
And I will add a log going across the upper level and will try to plan some pothos in the log.
