Thread: Frogs for 2.5 gallon tank?

  1. #1

Default Frogs for 2.5 gallon tank?

I am willing to go much bigger, but I have some tanks on hand and would like to put them to use. The aquariums are longer than than they are tall. Not ideal for tree frogs. Would a ADF be ok? There so cute. What care do they require? Will they eat fish pellets? I have a betta and she is pampered with many food choices, including pellets. I haven't a owed any frogs before so they need to be hardy and good eaters. Plz reply.

That's a small tank, so probably a Pacman.

A pacman would out grow a 2.5 pretty fast. Its recommended to house adults in a 10 to 20 gallon long. Even though they don't move a lot they do move after they poop or have soiled the substrate to much in one area, and after you put him and the water dish in the tank he would have nowhere to move.

Thanks so much for responding. I want a pacman but I would probably get a bigger tank. I only have so much room tho. I still live with my parents and I can't keep tanks in other places besides my room. But I'm almost sure I'll get a pacman.
