So I was playing with my dog in the back yard and I accidentally kicked a frog. He was knocked out cold on his back with his mouth wide open. So I picked him up and put him right side up in my bird bath that is full of leaves and covered in brush. He eventually closed his mouth and is breathing. He has a slight abrasion/peeled skin on his back. But I don't see any broken bones or anything. The only thing that worries me is he does not respond to me getting close to him or nearly touching him. Will this frog be okay? :'( it's a Leopard frog.
Only a vet or time will be able to tell you. Is there no animal rescue people you can call that can deal with local wildlife?
You will need a vet, plain and simple. Try searching for exotic animal vets near you so you can get it proper care/medicine for it to survive. I hope the little guy pulls through!
