    Default Bullfrogs

Do they eat other smaller frog species? Was at the local pond yesterday and I was near the lilies and saw a little guy go under water as I approached. Also how long can a frog hold his breath underwater?

Yes, Bullfrogs are very territorial and will consume anything they can fit into their mouths. They need a big enclosure if you are thinking of keeping one, like a 55 Gallon and up. They need land and water setup with a 3 to 1 ratio of water to land. They can be very fun to watch at feeding time. Hope this helps!

55 gallon and up? Reminds me of a bearded dragon setup except a bearded dragon setup is all land.

It is surprising how big these frogs will actually get. They can jump very great distance as well. These are one of the biggest frog species out there. The more space the better.
