I am moving this summer and would like to know if anyone has tips on transporting darts long distances in hot weather. I also want to know if anyone knows the best way to package vivariums so they don't break or the plants don't die. So far I have deli cups for my two darts, i am going to put a small amount of damp substrate with leaf litter in with each of them. And have them in a cooler with packaging material and a ice pack. The drive will take three days and I am worries about them. I would love to know any tips about keeping them at an ideal temperature. Also i plan on boxing my vivarium up but worries about the heat when the care is sitting in the sun, I am planning on misting daily and keeping a ice pack in the vivarium to keep the plants cool. If you have any experience with moving frogs in warm weather please feel free to give me some tips I want to make sure the move goes smooth and they stay healthy in the process.
