    Default New Ornate Pacman

So after two years of having a "teal blue" that grew up to be a gray/brown cranwelli he started acting weird around Christmas after eating his monthly frozen mouse. Not sure what happened but he barely ate, would hide for weeks at a time, and did short bouts of hibernation followed by eating his skin multiple times. Didnt look like he lost weight and the temp/humidity was constant 80-84 daytime, 75-80 night time, and 70-80%. Anyway, he passed a couple weeks ago and i decided to order an ornate to replace him.

Had him held at fedex and when i picked him up the guy was holding the box upside down and smacking the side of the box as he handed it to me... Luckily he was fine and ate 5 small crickets later that evening.

No name as of yet. I definitely can see the difference in body shape and pattern of an ornate vs cranwelli.
i would like to post a picture but when i do it from my iphone it keeps saying invalid file type?

Nice. I like the regular green variety the best. Crickets are ok, but if you want to pack on size grab some canadian night crawlers. They have a superior nutritional profile and cheaper as a staple.

Congrats on the frog, I love the nice green in the Ornates. As pyru said if you can change up and get Canadian night crawlers there way better for him. I noticed once my guys switched to them when they were babies the growth rate was way faster.

Actually already have them as its what my previous pacman ate as his main food source plus they're easier to maintain than constantly dealing with crickets but thanks for the heads up! I just wanted to offer crickets for the first couple days to help him get used to his new home since thats what he was being fed before. He gets dusted calcium every other feeding and dusted vitamins once a week. He's doing great so far!
