Hello, we have a small leopard frog that we have raised since the fall as a tadpole (we got the taspole through a place that sold Discovery Frog Kits)...he is prob 2" long or so, last fall we went to a hike and found a pond where we saw other leopard frogs....we want to release him, would this be a good time of the year and a good place to do it??....please let me know.

I'm probably too late but raising a Leopard Frog would make it less skittish than a wild one, which would make for a better less stressed pet. It would already be used to you as well. If you let it go that's perfectly fine, I just wanted to give you something to think about.
