I first noticed these speckles about a week ago, but being new to frogs I didn't think anything of them at the time. Then yesterday while I was looking up impaction/constipation (frog also has not pooped in 2 weeks) I saw someone mention something to the effect of "the dreaded neon green spots".
The frog is still a juvenile, I'm guessing about 2 1/2, maybe 3, inches nose to end. I've had it for about a month now. For husbandry: It's currently in a 5 gallon tank with a water dish, cork bark and fake plants, terra cotta pots, and was on cocofiber but I changed to paper towel a couple days ago. Daytime temps are 79-81 and night is around 73. Humidity is 60-70%. Because it's still a young frog I've been feeding it a little bit every night, dusting with cal+D3 every other night and a multivitamin once a week. I haven't been keeping it with UVB since none of the research I did on google mentioned that they need it, plus they're nocturnal, but I just saw some comments here saying that they should have it?
As for the possibility of impaction, I tong feed the frog so there can't be any ingested sub involved and I try to feed appropriately sized prey - but there's been a couple times where it's been slightly bigger than it should be. I'm not sure if that was before or after its last poop. I feed dubia roaches and phoenix worms mainly, sometimes crickets, a freshly molted superworm cut in half if I find one.
