Default White's - Does this look like a BI?

    Hello! Here are the pictures:

I first noticed these speckles about a week ago, but being new to frogs I didn't think anything of them at the time. Then yesterday while I was looking up impaction/constipation (frog also has not pooped in 2 weeks) I saw someone mention something to the effect of "the dreaded neon green spots".

The frog is still a juvenile, I'm guessing about 2 1/2, maybe 3, inches nose to end. I've had it for about a month now. For husbandry: It's currently in a 5 gallon tank with a water dish, cork bark and fake plants, terra cotta pots, and was on cocofiber but I changed to paper towel a couple days ago. Daytime temps are 79-81 and night is around 73. Humidity is 60-70%. Because it's still a young frog I've been feeding it a little bit every night, dusting with cal+D3 every other night and a multivitamin once a week. I haven't been keeping it with UVB since none of the research I did on google mentioned that they need it, plus they're nocturnal, but I just saw some comments here saying that they should have it?

As for the possibility of impaction, I tong feed the frog so there can't be any ingested sub involved and I try to feed appropriately sized prey - but there's been a couple times where it's been slightly bigger than it should be. I'm not sure if that was before or after its last poop. I feed dubia roaches and phoenix worms mainly, sometimes crickets, a freshly molted superworm cut in half if I find one.

No, it looks perfectly fine to me, or at least from the photos you provided. Bowl prolapses (Which is what I think you meant, I don't think you can see impactions externally) look more like this: http://talkto.thefrog.org/index.php?...=7&topic=24121 http://www.reptilescanada.com/showth...lapse-Problems If he/she is sick, I hope they get better!

Are you sure the frog didn't poop somewhere out of the way? I've had mine be very late, but they got over the constipation. If you're still worried you can try a warm (not hot! check it with a thermometer) water bath with a drop or two of honey.

I'm not sure that green spots are necessarily related to constipation? You should monitor whether the frog's eating normally and moving normally. If the frog isn't doing it's usual thing, soaks in the water bowl way more than normal and seems to have patchy skin that might be a sign of a fungal infection.

Whoops sorry let me clarify, by BI I mean bacterial infection - I've heard that green spots or blotches can be a sign of that, like this person's frog who ended up dying: http://s1105.photobucket.com/user/ma..._2713.jpg.html My frog didn't have the speckles until a week or so ago and now they're constantly there

The pooping thing is a separate problem, unless an infection could cause that too. I'm pretty certain I haven't been seeing any poop since back when it was pooping they were big enough to be fairly obvious and the cocofiber was just a shallow layer packed down tightly. The cage decor is also easily removable without disturbing the sub, and I haven't seen any around or underneath them. I did replace it with paper towels recently though so I'll definitely know 100% whether it does go now

But to add something I forgot, other then that the frog seems to be acting okay. It's not eating a whole lot but it's not lethargic; actually when I was taking the pics it hopped out of the bowl and made a break for it across the room.

The spots are suspicious. Like you say, they can show up when a frog's sick, though a frog can have a spot or two now and then and be fine. It may be a bacterial or fungal thing with the skin.

It's up to you whether you want to find a herp vet who can test your frog or you want to wait and see if it displays more symptoms.
