    Default Apologies

Hi guys. As some of you may have seen, I've had some disputes on this forum. I have problems wording what I'm trying to say correctly but truth is I'm trying my best to help everyone on this forum and the animals they care for and learn upon the way. There is loads of conflicting information on amphibian husbandry, which is confusing! But after years of reading books and trial or errors and from emails with the best experts on the field of husbandry, as well as having shown great enthusiasm to the natural behaviour of amphibians and caring for several types of species, I also push myself to provide the best care possible and maintain healthy animals, which means good entertainment! I am trying to learn as much as I can and some day be a breeder. I already have my future breeding frogs with me but they have not yet matured. I still have a lot to learn, hence why I joined this forum but hopefully we can share ideas in a positive way and most importantly focus on the care of the animals we love most and make friendships where we can talk about amphibians and how to improve their care to give them the same experience they would have in the wild. I truly care about the animals I keep and they are they're quality of life is very important to me
    Cheers,
    Jason

Jason I get it. This forum made me go out of my mind. I can barely come on here to be honest. Hang in there.

Hey, I know how you feel. I hope everything is okay on here, as I haven't had the time to spend and post here

Yeah, hang in there! I joined this forum a few years ago because of the dedicated people who are willing to share information about our favorite creatures. I have learned so much about amphibians and hope that I was able to enlighten others. A forum like this can be awkward since we cannot express emotions very well. Yes, there is conflicting information about husbandry - the best advice is to find reliable sources, do your homework and share your findings with the rest of the forum.

That was my conclusion too. Homework. And I err on the side of caution. It seems like there's newer ideas vs. Old tried and true ideas about amphibians and it can get heated. In the end we all want the best for our animals. I just have to remember that..

Thanks Terry, you hit the nail on the head

I read books new and old, as well as magazines with the latest info, then share and take on the newest information to provide the latest husbandry techniques because the animals will benefit from it
