Is 3 gallons big enough for a single grey tree frog.
No, I suggest a 20 gallon or bigger.

I don't own any tree frogs but have abit knowledge when it comes to the basics and I would have to strongly agree that you would want at least a 20 gallon. You have to remember that these are tree frogs so they will need a pretty decent amount of plants for coverage and so they can move around. Once you planted a 3 gallon tank added a water bowl etc, I don't think you would even have room for the frog. A 3 gallon tank is pretty much good for giving soaks if needed and that would probably be it, I don't know if it would even be possible to plant a 3 gallon tank.
Unless it's a moving tank or feeding/soaking tank, no. It's far to small for a frog to live in, and there's no space for anything, such as live or artificial plants, hides, water and other basic necessities. Once again, a 20-30 gallon tank would be preferable, but for a single frog 15-10 gallons should be fine. Remember, if the frog can't jump efficiently, than either it's time for a bigger tank, or calcium/supplements/UVB lighting for it so it doesn't get MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease)
