Thread: New tank!

  1. #1

    Default New tank!

I finally got my new tank for my tree frog. It's the Exo-Terra 18 X 18 X 24. However, I was wondering if there was some kind of branch I could buy that would stick to the walls or something. Maybe with suction cups? I just feel like there are some climbing decorations on the floor of the tank but hardly anything towards the top. Also, I'm going to a reptile show soon to try to get an albino red eyed tree frog I'm excited about that
    My current list of frogs:

My current list of other pets:
    4 nerite snails
    1 betta fish
    3 silver dollar fish
    1 red tailed shark
    1 pictus catfish
    2 angelfish
    1 comet goldfish
    1 tabby cat

There's probably such thing as too many pets, but I don't think I'm there yet.

There is a realistic vine made by Penn Plax that is the very best-it looks totally real even with some "moss" on it. You can definitely tie or drill a suction cup into the top to connect. Then I have the bottom of it going into a cork round; that keeps it in place. (Exoterra also makes vines but I think not as realistic, they look like they are made of tires or something)

Cork branches are a good idea because they are relatively cheap and easy to clean. You will definitely be able to find something at the reptile show.
