What do u plan on putting into the bio active soil? I have bio active soil for my Pygmy monitor lizards, it works great. I never have to clean the cage.

Pygmy monitors eh? $$$ lol. Yeah I'm with you with not having to clean the enclosure. I had a skink tank that had a bio-active sub that I made accidentally (topsoil, coir and sand) and even after one whole year the enclosure smelled like fresh dirt. If I remember right, I never had to clean it, the waste would just disappear. I didn't add any additional critters either (springtails, isopods etc) outside of the few feeders that got away and the occasional cricket babies that hatched inside the enclosure. My mistake though was not adding plants to complete the cycle.

Use it for 1 of my bps, our red eyes, retf's, our pac we rehomed(it was the devil, MWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH! CHOMP!), our wtfs and other snake soon. Found a recipie a while ago on google that mimics joshs frogs blend. Yeilded a bunch. Like waaaay too much a bunch. But its good to have soil to start your viv plants in. Still added iso's tho. Im sure i picked up the rest of my buggy crew from the native plants i use. Butit works well. Remove large poo doo bombs, kinda aggitate and repack it from time to time and let it go. Heck i even got small earth worms lol. However i also do weekly moisture and ph tests to be safe.
