I know kinda a weird question but my little baby is in a 10 gal and when I feed he goes into a frenzie eating jumping and biting anything he can.
i normally remove the large plant I have in there so crux won't hide too much but he just seems to take a long time (messing up my how many will he eat in 15 mins span)
ive only had him a week and the other day I took him out and placed him in a Tupperware with crux and he wouldn't do anything but run from them and kick them away, not sure if it was too soon to be moving him all over or what.
my question is... How do u guys feed ur frogs? Leave them in there with crickets? Or move them to an area where they can feed?
also just for the hell of it, what is ur frogs favorite food?
thanks in advance everyone!
Tong feeding is the best and tong training is the best to start when they go crazy like you describe.
food - nightcrawlers ( chunks=distance between eyes while a baby, gut lodged crickets, roaches. Everything dusted with ca/vitd3 every other feeding, once a week separate multivitamin powder)
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Thanks for your reply!
I was dusting every feeding so its good to know i don't have to do that all the time. Ive been feeding medium crix I wanna move to large I'm thinking. ill get him out and show how much he has grown in just a week! crazy!
