My family's frog Ms.Bighead ate rocks I don't know how to add a pic so the xray is my profile pic. Hard lesson today. I'm taking her in for surgery right now.

Oh no!! I hope surgery goes well, keep us updated. I'm sure you've already figured out that anything that can fit in the mouth, could potentially be eaten. Thank you for getting her help!

Hope every thing goes ok and hopefully she has nice speedy recovery. And don't be too hard on yourself everybody makes mistakes. When I first got my fire belly toads I was informed to use the small fish rocks so I did. I later heard it wasn't the safest but me being stubborn decided to keep the little rocks because I have seen others that had used them with no problems. Well one day while feeding one jumped and missed the cricket and got a nice stone in his mouth. I was quick enough because I was right there to catch him and I gently pushed under his chin and was able to pop it out for him, if I wasn't there he either would have swallowed it or choked because he wasn't able to spit it out by himself. Frogs came out about 5 minutes later and luckily I had some cocofibre on hand from my pacmans I hadn't used yet and I did a substrate change and no small rocks have been in there since. Nobody in this world is perfect.

Hope that she heals up! I feel so sorry for you, and again, best wishes on the surgery, and I hope that she lives a long life afterwards!
