Hello all,
just woke up this morning to a sick retf. I have had her since
February and she has been healthy, active and eating. It was only this morning I
noticed something was wrong. She has blotches all over her body and her head is
swollen/lumpy. She hasn't lost any weight and is very active still but I am very
concerned as I know something is wrong. Please let me know what to do. I have
moved her away from main tank to a sick tank for the time being.
There are a couple fungus gnats that found their way in and springtails. As for plants I have pothos, pepperomia, and an alocasia. Her blotches have gone away and she is bright green but her head still looks super deformed.
That does not look good. Can you get her to a vet? That'd be my number 1 recommendation right now.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
Just a status update. She is back to normal! Thank goodness! I wasn't able to get her to a vet unfortunately due to my work schedule. My guess is she had some kind of allergic reaction. Maybe a bad cricket? Any ideas on what could have caused such craziness?
Do you have any updated photos?
