I just came into my room and turned off the light and to my amazement my frog which is about 4 or 5months just let out 3 loud croaks .. I know for a fact they weren't squeaks cause I've heard him do those before .. Does him croaking mean he is for sure a male ? Looking at other threads his head is big compared to a females of similar age ... I would post a picture but can't on my current phone .
If the frog is croaking, it is most likely a male. Females of some species may let out a few weak croaks, but this is usually in response to a male. I think that you indeed have a male

If it croaks its a male!! Congrats! My pig hasn't croaked yet but my princess has chirped a couple times.
