Is it ok to give these to my frogs and toads if they are not in pesticide and are fat and healthy looking? I got them from an old fall out shelter 10 feet under ground. If anybody has done this please let me know what your experience was. I'm not putting them in my tank, I'd take out the animal to feed it because those slugs could eat the whole tank in a matter of hours lol. Thanks

I'd be cautious feeding wild insects. Many can carry parasites. Some slugs carry different protective secretions in their slime.

I'm not worried when it comes to earthworms or earwigs or Woodlice, etc, that's normal for wild frogs and toads to eat and mine perk up when they hunt them. I just read the slugs defense mechanism and I'm not using them. They are too dangerous because they would excrete more ooze until the predator would chuck it back up. Not trying that. Thanks for the help
