Default cant tell if RETF's are eating

Hey guys, so ive been bowl feeding my RETF's (3 frogs) for a few weeks now. I got them about a month ago they were babies, just over an inch long. They are a little bigger now. Im not totally sure if they are eating ok. Half of the crickets are able to get out of my feeding bowl. It is about 3 inches wide, 6 inches long, and 2 n a half or 3 inches tall. Ill see one frog go to the bowl but havent really seen the others chill at the edge of the bowl and watch the crickets like the one. I work nights so I only can watch them at night 2 days a week. Im not really even sure what im asking you guys haha im just concerned bout my awesome froggies, I want them to grow and thrive. They should be able to figure the crickets are in the bowl right? The crickets dont seem to move so much after a couple hours, I know the frogs see food as movement. Anyway just thought id put this out here.

    PEACE

    - Jake

I forgot to add this. I am finding poop, but not a lot. One poop usually or 2 sometimes. I know they are supposed to poo in the water but I usually find it on the plan leaves. Only once I have found it in the water. Ya just thought you guys would want to hear about frog poo.

Try adding some crickets freely in your pen, while keeping some in the bowl, until they get it

If you have three, in my opinion it's a good idea to have two feeder bowls seperated so if there is any competition, the sky guys can still eat.

And pooping on leaves is fine - as long as they poop Just keep an eye on their weight.

I am more into toads, so if anyone has anything to add or correct me in, please do so

I had to use multiple bowls to get my reds to start eating from them.

cool thanks im trying the 2 bowls tonight. My frogs are growing for sure tho which is good they seem to be doing good. My local pet stores "small crickets" are def not small but my frogs still eat them but would be better to get the correct cricket size. I ordered some 1/8 inch crickets from joshs frogs which they should like, they will be a bit small but better then too large, plus they will grow in my cricket keeper. I would breed crickets, but my roommates think thats gross, haha

It's good that they're growing and it's good that you're getting appropriately sized crickets. Too big of crickets can lead to prolapse or other issues.
