    Talking Wood Frog

It is finally spring here on the east coast of Canada and today I found this Wood Frog hunting near the tall grass in the back yard. Yay!! The lawn was just mowed so he has some grass clippings on him.

    Default Wood Frog

If I didn't have Leopard Frogs I would have gotten Wood Frogs. They are really cool and the one you found looks really nice. Did you catch it?

I like the wood frogs too He/she was a pretty pinkish color and I thought it was neat. I don't like to take frogs from the wild since they have a hard time adjusting to captivity but I wouldn't mind a couple spring peeper tadpoles or froglets.

I agree, I wouldn't take them from the wild unless they were in danger or hurt. Spring peepers are cool, I couldn't have just 1 during mating season. It's either a bunch or none haha, they'd probably be in a sound proof tank also.
