Thread: My frog has a broken back

Unhappy My frog has a broken back

He didn't poop for five weeks. That was the reason that I brought him to the vet this Monday. But the X-ray showed his bone in pelvis was broken.
Now I have a difficult discussion to make. Euthanize him or not?
He doesn't eat. The big stool stuck in his belly. He can move but not as active as before. I love him so much. But I don't know if it is the time to let him go or give a try to wait him cruel by himself. Currently, I only give him pain killer very day.

How bad is it? If it is hindering normal activities, such as eating and pooping, I personally would consider putting it down

    That is so sad...
What did the vet say ?
If the frog suffers and can't eat, yes, you should make her/him "free of pain" by Euthanizing....

How did he/she break her back, did you see what happened or has the frog showed signs that something was wrong since you got it.
