Thread: new plant from a garden shop

Default new plant from a garden shop

I picked up a pothos yesterday at a garden facility and have a few questions. How long should I wait to introduce it into my frog tank for possible chemicals and for the fertilizer to be diluted enough? What is the best soil with sphagnum moss mixed in for drainage to grow plants for frogs? And what's the best way to keep the heat up? I'm building this in the zoo med nt4 tank with a water fall kit to keep it swampy with out making it insanely wet and using low output led grow lights. And if their is anything else I'm missing let me know. Keep in mind this is for a large frog which is why I chose to use pothos for this set up as my pacman in another cage has slept on a smaller pothos plant then this one is and she couldn't even make a dent in the leaves. This is my first time though getting it from a garden center so this is why i ask. Also how is plantation soil vs eco earth vs jungle mix from zilla in nutrient levels for plants
