    Would have been alright without the flash ring reflection I reckon, I'll try and get some better shots of these new ones when they're hatching in a about a week

    The process of metamorphosis despite being very familiar since childhood still gets me. When you stop to think and appreciate what's happening in the bodies of these little guys it's miraculous!

    It's a Canon SX50HS. Just a bridge camera rather than anything super flashy, but I really like the lens.

    I am fairly certain that the new eggs are of Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis, the not super tiger leg tree frog (I may or may not have searched most of the animals in your signature to find out )
