    Smile Albino baby pacman

This will not be in the works for another few weeks yet until my current green horned is moved to his new 50 gallon but i want to make sure i get this right before buying my second froggy friend
Right so the thing is i read somewhere that albino pacmans require less light as their skin is more sensitive to uv light, is this true and if so would it be better to him and darker area? at the moment my current set up is close to a window so that sunlight will get through to my live plants and Froug and he is very happy where he lives.
    Thanks for any replies :3

They are more sensitive so it's best not to use any flourescent or daylight heat lamps but they don't need to be in complete darkness either, it's just direct light that's bad plus I'm pretty sure UV gets blocked out throughly glass so none will come through the window and hurt the frog but you don't want to put the tank directly facing the window as it may overheat, normal room lighting should be fine. They don't require UVB anyway and infrared bulbs or ceramic heat emitters are good choice for heating as they can be used 24/7 but best connected to a thermostat with a day night setting so it can provide a night time drop

I have a albino and as Jason stated as long as the room light is bright enough to light up the tank the frog will be fine. And the room my frogs are in has 2 60 watt daylight house bulbs in the ceiling. This lights up the whole enclosure and the plants shade out certain areas for her so she can get out of the light. She comes up about 30 to 45 mins after lights out, pretty much as soon as the tank has cooled down a couple of degrees and after lights go on she is gone underground in about 20 mins. But I imagine too that a low wattage LED light would be ok and not be too bright but be enough to let the frog know its daytime.

Guys covered UV here, I just wanted to clarify, am I reading it correctly and you plan on moving your frog to 50g?
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
