Default I just found a pair of Gray tree frogs on the road by my house!

Oh my gosh, they are absolutely adorable and perfect!!! I really need somebody to tell me to let them go, and make babies, because I want to keep them so bad!!! I would upload photos, but it seems the image uploader isn't working, and I don't want to sign up for Photobucket tonight... Anyway I'll try to figure that out tomorrow so that you may all view their perfectness...

I would say let them go and start looking for tadpoles. Tadpoles have a lower survival rate in the wild so taking a couple has a much lower impact on the local population than removing adult, breeding age frogs. Also, some people find tadpoles in places like drained pools where they won't survive to adulthood anyway, so taking them is much better for your local environment!

That was the plan originally, but then these two just hopped into my life. I guess I'll keep them for a few days to get some decent pictures of them. At least now I know the best place to tadpole hunt... Along that road...

I would let them go too, asap. It's breeding season and you want them to have the opportunity to make some baby greys. It would be much better to pick up some tads or newly morphed frogs in a month or so.

Ok, I'll send them on their merry way. I assume I have to release them where I found them, I can't just let them go in my goldfish pond (which has no goldfish) can I? It'd be awesome if they stuck around but I don't want them to get run over trying to hop a half mile to the swamp by the road where I found them...

The goldfish could eat them, their eggs, or their tadpoles, so I would say don't release them by the goldfish pond. If you still want some and are impatient about tadpoles, LLLReptile has some, and I am interested in breeding some cope's grays (probably won't but who says I won't try )

Well if the pond has no goldfish that might be okay, but are there any other frogs there? Can you get them close enough to the swamp they don't have to cross the road?

There are a lot of other frogs in the pond, and if history is a good teacher a toad will be laying eggs in there shortly... I guess to the swamp it is!!!
